Cigar Store Indian Foundry Iron Folk Art Bank
At over a foot tall, this replica turn-of-the-century work of advertising art was once used to promote "Old Honesty Cigars" in dry goods stores across the nation. A nostalgic piece highly prized by collectors, historians and antique dealers alike, it is cast in 5 lbs. of foundry iron and deftly hand-painted to replicate the original antique. Art alone, it's also a fully functional bank! This sculpture is inspired by traditional southwest art but is not an Indian product or the product of a particular Indian tribe or organization.
